Cowboys and Ponies

Hannan's 2nd Birthday Party was fun and laid back!
We tried to corral the horses and bring in the hay...getting ready for Hannan's big day.
(ONLY AFTER...the $10 horse balloon galloped off into the sunrise and the car with the blue lights turned out to have a compassionate cop who felt sorry for a crying mother with cupcakes and balloons in her car!) Whew! Gets me worked up thinking of all that again!
On to the Party!

A few weeks before his party, someone asked Hannan what kind of party he wanted.

He said, "A horsey party and I'm gonna wear my boots!"

We laid out the BBQ and paper plates and gathered all the cowboys up for lunch!

I (of course) had lots of help.
I couldn't have done it without everyone who was there!
Thank you!!!

His Sha and Nana spoiled him rotten on his birthday-like always!

Gigi was a huge hit with her blocks and big kisses!

JuJu and Brooks got to enjoy some sunshine.

Grayson enjoyed Han's new horse swing.

Emory didn't want to miss a thing.

Everyone had to get their Emory fix!

What would a cowboy do if he didn't get a little dirty?!

Or sneak a little sugar?!

Hannan has been singing "Happy Birthday Hannan" ever since this day!

Can't you tell, he soaked it up!

Nothing like a little love...

And just one more bite!

Ohhh...but little reminders that we are officially TWO!!!

Dean felt like a big guy around all these boys!

His daddy was sweet enough to bring a hay ride!
'Round and 'round the yard they went...
too bad they didn't slow down for nap time after that ride!

On to the presents!
Hannan had lots of help from sweet Ryann!

Brandon was cruising around the place...trying to round up some fun.

While Brooks had the horse saddled up and ready to go.

Jimpa and Bennett surveyed their losses. How does it disappear so fast???

Hannan was just tickled so many came for his special day, like Memom and Papa.

Papa Jay wouldn't have missed it either!

Fun times and Great memories.

Hopefully, he'll look back on these pictures and know it was a great day.
Now on to being TWO!!! So many, many things to do!
