Isaiah 40:29-31 "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
The Lord has definately increased our strength lately. Jay made it through the Anterior Cervical Fusion (neck surgery) and has had some relief from the excruciating pain he was having. Today is the worst day since surgery though, and he is struggling with soreness from the procedure itself. It should get better over the next two days. He has waited for relief for two weeks after waking up one AM with severe neck pain and right arm weakness and numbness. (No specific injury known!?!) Now we are waiting for complete recovery.
God has renewed our strength through friends who will show up at 6:30 AM at the hospital to pray with us and those who will bring supper when they also have families of their own. And also, through family who continually gives and gives of themselves to help us with little Hannan! Thanks to all of you!
We are also WAITING on little Grayson! He is even more stubborn than Hannan was! Little Lindsey went into labor this morning around 7:30 and still no Grayson at 6:00. I was told she was close and may start pushing soon. I pray God continues to strengthen her (and Jason) even now. She will need it for those "rounds" of pushing!
Hannan has been excited about Grayson's arrival. He was wearing his little outfit Grayson's MiMi gave him while he waited for the phone call about his birth. We will post some pictures soon of him! You can also check out their blog at www.lindseyandjason.blogspot.com.

I'm glad everything went okay, and am still praying for a quick recovery! Poor Jay! (Poor Lela!)
